Pet Owner Services

TRANSPORTATION If you’re not working with a veterinary hospital or you unexpectedly lose a pet at home, you can make arrangements to bring your pet directly to us. In some cases, we may be able to pick up your pet from your residence.

CREMATION You can choose from 2 cremation options:

Private Cremation - Your pet will have an private cremation, and their sole remains will be returned in a wood-carved urn or an urn of your choice. Your pet’s ashes will normally be ready within 5-7 business days. Expedited service is available for an additional cost. With each private cremation, you will receive a Certificate of Cremation telling when your pet was cremated. Inside each urn is an identification tag matching up to our logbook tracking the cremation process. For information on additional services and fees for a private cremation, please contact us.

Communal Cremation - Your pet will be cremated with other companion animals, and the ashes will not be returned to you. All cremains are scattered at sea in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Humboldt Bay. For information on fees for a communal cremation, please contact us.

Veterinary Partners

Eureka Pet Cremation offers regular and frequent pick-ups for our veterinary partners. Remains will be returned back to a veterinary hospital generally within 5-7 business days. We work with all veterinary hospitals.  If you don’t see your veterinarian listed, you still can request our services.  Just let your veterinarian know you would like to use Eureka Pet Cremation to handle the cremation of your pet.  If you are not working with a veterinary hospital, you’re welcome to bring your pet directly to us.
